Atlanta quintet Separations drop heavy track "Exist" from sophomore album—listen

Falling on the melodic side of heavier subgenres of rock, Separations are back with a powerful new track from their upcoming second album Bloom — a follow-up to their 2015 debut release Dream Eater, which was produced by James Paul Wisner (Underoath, Hands Like Houses, Dashboard Confessional).

The Atlanta boys have matured since their debut and have combined their newly established grooves, memorable hooks, massive riffs, and genuine lyrical substance to create a breakthrough record that dives deep into their psyche.

The band consists of Will Crafton on vocals, Myles Priest and Tyler Whitfield on guitars, Brenden Worthington on bass, and David Richey behind the drum set.

Crafton explains that “'Exist' deals heavily with the idea of humanity and what it means to feel and be alive.”

Bloom is set to release on June 23 via Imagen Records. “The album was written during a very transitional point in all of our lives,” explains Crafton. “We lost a lot during the writing process this time. However, we got back up and were able to salvage the pieces. We took what we learned, and we put it to music. Bloom is all about how even in the most treacherous climates and terrible life conditions, something beautiful can grow.” Check out the album artwork below.
