Watch Chance The Rapper, Joe Keery, more track werewolf and deliver pizza in 'Slice'

“I’m gonna tell you a story about a ghost, a werewolf, and a pretty shitty pizza place.”

It’s the opening lines of A24’s new trailer, Slice, and it tells you everything you need to know about the forthcoming movie.

Almost two years ago, Chance The Rapper shared a 19-second snippet of a trailer for a movie called Slice. There’s been little known about the horror flick, other than it marking Chance’s debut into the film world.

Fast forward to today, the trailer for the rapper-turned-actor’s debut to the big screen is finally here and we couldn’t be more excited for this upcoming horror film.

Slice comes from director Austin Vesely, who is a close collaborator with Chance, and it appears that it’s going to be a tale closer to the likes of Scream than Halloween.

Per the trailer’s narrator, the film centers around a pizza shop called Perfect Pizza, which happens to be located on top of the gateway to hell (we can’t even say we’re surprised.)

As with any horror movie, the trailer kicks off with the murder of a pizza delivery boy and the accused? A killer werewolf. Deciding to team up, some of the Pizza Perfect employees try to find the killer…with a few twists and turns along the way.

Joining Chance on this wild adventure is Atlanta‘s Zazie Beetz, Rae Gray, Hannibal Buress, Paul Scheer, and Stranger Things‘ star Joe Keery – who looks like he brought Steve Harrington out of Hawkins and threw him in a new nightmare.

Slice doesn’t have a release date yet, but judging from the trailer, it looks like we can expect it sometime this fall.
