Are the Spice Girls about to reunite for a massive arena tour?

In a recent story with The Sun, the band intend to reunite for a massive arena tour. Ahead of their supposed appearance on ITV’S Jonathan Ross Show, the girls have reportedly filmed a secret video revealing 2019 tour details. The video said to be released on Monday, Nov. 5.

However, the tour will likely not feature Posh Spice, Victoria Beckham. The updated lineup reportedly includes Baby Spice (Emma Bunton), Scary Spice (Mel B), Ginger Spice (Geri) and Sporty Spice (Mel C). According to The Sun, Beckham is working on her fashion career instead.

In addition to these new leads, all five of the girls got together to discuss possible reunion plans this past February. Also, in wake of the #MeToo movement, it seems like a perfect time for the Spice Girls to come back into our hearts.

We are always overwhelmed at how much interest there is across the whole world for The Spice Girls,”  the band say in a statement. “The time now feels right to explore some incredible new opportunities together. We all agree that there are many exciting possibilities that will once again embrace the original essence of the Spice Girls while reinforcing our message of female empowerment for future generations.”

Rumored to be their last performance ever, we last saw the Spice Girls play at the London Olympics closing ceremony in 2012. Prior to the Olympics, the girl group did a single reunion tour, which concluded in early 2008.

All in all, we will just have to wait until Monday to see what our favorite girl group officially has in store for us. In the meantime, dig up some sweet nostalgia and listen to “Wannabe.”
