Not only is “Something Else” a fun, upbeat indie-rock banger, Tancred’s flamboyant take on the modern cult-classic TV show Riverdale is nothing less than iconic.
This bad boy has everything a gay Riverdale-inspired music video needs: lesbian Bughead, Potty Mouth as Josie And The Pussycats and moody lighting. Check out the masterpiece below.
“Jess and I wanted to pay tribute to the stylized, teen dream melodramas we love, from Riverdale to Twin Peaks,” director Jason Lester says. “The giddy feeling of attraction represented by TV’s archetypes of youth, cotton candy colors and often repressed sexuality felt perfectly in sync with Tancred’s swooning track.”
