Watch YUNGBLUD perform an unreleased song on his YouTube show

This week, YUNGBLUD announced that he is bringing back his YouTube variety show The YUNGBLUD Show to benefit Black Lives Matter.

During the latest episode which premiered on June 25, YUNGBLUD gave fans an exclusive performance of his unreleased song “The Emperor.”

It’s been a few months since fans last watched a new episode of The YUNGBLUD Show. The performer announced on June 22 that he is bringing back the show and is using his platform to raise awareness and donations for Black Lives Matter.

The latest 26-minute episode of The YUNGBLUD Show is jam-packed with live performances, special guests and more. During the episode, YUNGBLUD spoke with Paris Hilton where they debated a variety of topics including McDonald’s, Elon Musk and Grimes, vegemite and even Brad Pitt.

As well, the performer spoke with teen activist Kenidra Woods about Black Lives Matter and what everyone can do to help with the movement. YUNGBLUD is also encouraging viewers to donate what they can to the Black Lives Matter fund.

Fans also got to see various performances from YUNGBLUD during the show. Alongside “Psychotic Kids,” “Waiting On the Weekend” and an acoustic version of his latest single “Weird!,” he also treated fans to a new song called “The Emperor.”

“The Emperor” has not been officially released yet. However, fans who have seen YUNGBLUD on tour over the past few years may recognize the song from his live performances.

YUNGBLUD also announced today that a sequel to his The Twisted Tales of the Ritalin Club graphic novel is on the way. Called Weird Times at Quarry Banks University, the new comic is a follow up this his 2019 graphic novel and is co-written by Ryan Sullivan.

The official description for Weird Times at Quarry Banks University reveals that the comic’s characters are leaving high school behind and entering university.

“Now eighteen, and having graduated from Blackheart’s High School; Yungblud, plus his super-powered friends Harmony, Scout, Zombie Joshua, Em, and Encore are now enrolled as students at Quarry Bank University,” the official description reads.

For YUNGBLUD, he started writing comics as a way to create a safe space for fans to feel accepted.

“I wanted to start writing comics because I wanted to give my fans a genuine, physical world to fall into like I did,” he says. “[With the book] I wanted to amplify the idea that if you feel like you’re in a place where you don’t feel accepted, then come inside this world because here we love you for exactly who you are and we always will.”

Pre-orders for the book have launched and are available here.

As well, according to the website, YUNGBLUD fans are getting a new album from the performer this year. The description for the “YB2 Graphic Novel Bundle” reveals that the yet-to-be-titled album is on its way.

“Jewel case CD of YUNGBLUD’s as yet untitled, unannounced forthcoming album due out later in 2020,” the website description reads.
