A statement shared by HBO reveals that the area has been evacuated and that the fire has directly not interfered with Westworld’s filming, as it is currently not in production.
“Paramount Ranch was one of the locations used during seasons one and two of Westworld, in addition to the primary location at Melody Ranch in Santa Clarita,” the statement reads. “Westworld is not currently in production, and as the area has been evacuated, we do not yet know the extent of the damage to any structures remaining there. Most importantly, our thoughts go out to all those affected by these horrible fires.”

That tree in the first shot is so so important to my family — it’s where we sit for the Topanga Banjo and Fiddle Contest. I am going to keep this footage forever, I cannot believe it’s gone.
