Mikey Way, Shaun Simon & other Z2 Comics artists to appear at Comic Con
This year’s New York Comic Con will feature Z2 Comics and some of the biggest names in its publishing lineup. My Chemical Romance’s Mikey Way and writer/musician Shaun Simon are among the featured artists.
Well known for their music-based graphic novels, Z2 Comics will also facilitate meet and greets with artists such as Anthrax, Chuck D, CZARFACE and more this weekend.

You can catch Way at Z2 Comic’s booth #3100 with Electric Century co-writer Shaun Simon Friday from 1-2 p.m.
In an exclusive quote, Way told Alternative Press that he was excited about the event for sentimental reasons. “I’m excited to do my first ever panel at the convention I always attended growing up,” he says.

Z2 Comics’ booth will also have many exclusive items for sale, including limited-edition prints from Anthrax, CZARFACE, Public Enemy and Vasilis Lolos.
Joey Belladonna, Frank Bello, Charlie Benante, Jon Donais and Scott Ian of Anthrax will be signing prints at Z2 Comics’ booth Saturday from 2-3 p.m. and from 6-7 p.m.
Esoteric of CZARFACE will be joined by artist David Mack at the Z2 Comics’ booth for signings on Friday from 6-7 p.m. and Saturday from 1-2 p.m.
Public Enemy’s Chuck D has immortalized his legendary Anthrax “Bring The Noise” collab with 200 limited prints only available on-site at NYCC. Chuck D will be at Z2 Comics’ booth Saturday from noon to 1 p.m. and from 6-7 p.m. for signings.

Z2 Comics is also offering two special vinyl picture discs that were previously only available with super deluxe bundles. Now, fans can grab Anthrax’s 1987 album Among The Living with cover art by JG Jones and Dio’s 1983 album Holy Diver with exclusive art by Becky Cloonan at NYCC.
