Superchunk to cover Bananarama on new single

Superchunk will be releasing a new 7-inch this summer with one new song (“This Summer”) and a cover of “Cruel Summer,” originally by Bananarama. Check out the cover art below. It's due out June 12 via the band's own Merge Records.

Archers Of Loaf to reissue "Icky Mettle"

Merge records will be reissuing Archers Of Loaf's four studio albums, beginning with the band's debut album Icky Mettle. The album will be available August 2 and can be pre-ordered through the Merge Records store. Additional reissues will be following next year. The band is currently playing shows throughout the United States.
