Sparta begin recording new album

Texan post-hardcore group Sparta have begun work on their fourth studio album, according to frontman Jim Ward's instagram. Once out, the record will follow 2006's Threes. The band released their first song in six years this past May, which we premiered here.

Sparta add second El Paso show

Sparta have added a second reunion show in El Paso, TX. The band will now be playing Tricky Falls on Nov. 17 and Nov. 18. Tickets for both dates are available here. The band announced their return to activity back in August and are said to be working on their fourth album.

Sparta announce reunion show, writing new album

Sparta frontman Jim Ward has announced the band will play their first show since 2008 on November 17th in their hometown of El Paso, TX. Tickets are already available for sale here. Additionally, the band will head into the studio this fall to record the follow-up album to 2006's Threes.
