Taking Back Sunday perform new, untitled acoustic song on North Carolina TV station

Taking Back Sunday's Adam Lazzara and John Nolan stopped by a Charlotte, N.C. television station to perform a live, acoustic rendition of an as-yet-untitled new song.

The song was first performed at a “secret” show in Long Island back in Aug., and, at the time, jokingly referred to as “The Bird You Cannot Change.” This tune, along with “Flicker Fade,” is expected to appear on the group's forthcoming sixth album, due out this spring via Hopeless Records.

The television appearance apparently took place just before Lazzara was forced to temporarily drop off of Taking Back Sunday's current tour due to a family emergency, following a string of cancelations. The band tapped ex-Underoath vocalist Spencer Chamberlain to fill in for a week of performances, before Lazzara was able to return over the weekend, in Charlotte.
