Taking Back Sunday to self-release 'TAYF10: Acoustic' vinyl, double DVD with 'Live From Starland'

Earlier this year, before signing with Hopeless Records, Taking Back Sunday self-released a live acoustic album and concert filmTAYF10: Acoustic, in celebration of the tenth anniversary of their classic debut, Tell All Your Friends.

Recorded in the fall of 2012 during the band's Tell All Your Friends Tenth Anniversary Tour, both releases were made available in only digital formats.

Following the group's new record deal, impending release of their sixth album, and ongoing tour plans, many fans were left wondering when, if at all, TAYF10: Acoustic would see a physical release. Additionally, release plans for an electric TAYF10 live concert, filmed in Sept. at the newly reopened Starland Ballroom in Sayreville, N.J., were left in question.

Taking Back Sunday have finally announced plans for several upcoming releases, all through the band's own Sorry Records, on Dec. 10. Check out a tweet:

First off, TAYF10: Acoustic will see a double DVD release, along with the brand new TAYF10: Live From Starland BallroomLive From Starland will also be available as a standalone digital download. Fans who pre-order the DVD will be eligible to win a VIP sticky pass from the show.

Also, for the first time ever, TAYF:10 Acoustic will see a vinyl release, now available for pre-order. No plans for a standalone audio version of Live From Starland Ballroom have been announced.

Finally, a TAYF10 deluxe pack, which includes both DVDs, a ton of extra goodies, and is, apparently, the only way to snag TAYF:10 Acoustic on CD, if that's your preferred format, will be limited to 200 copies. Fans who pre-order the bundle will be eligible to win a signed setlist from Starland.

After a tour heavy 2013, Taking Back Sunday are taking some time off over the holidays, and are expected to announce a tour next year in support of their upcoming, as-yet-untitled new full-length.
