See Taylor Momsen offer a message of hope with a moving acoustic cover
Taylor Momsen, frontwoman of the Pretty Reckless, performed a stripped-down acoustic cover of "(What's So Funny 'Bout) Peace, Love And Understanding" performed by Elvis Costello & The Attractions and written by Nick Lowe with only her guitar at her side for the Fearless At Home livestream.
Fans of Momsen's music saw a departure from the glam-rock energy of her band in a humble and raw performance perfect for relaxing listeners who need healing during these trying times.
Momsen offered hope to listeners during the broadcast saying, "I can't wait for this storm to pass, as I'm sure all of you can't either, which it will. This is going to pass."
The Pretty Reckless not only participated in Fearless Records' livestream, they also announced in early May that they signed with the label. The band have a fourth record on the way.
AltPress had the chance to chat with Momsen about her involvement in the livestream, joining a new label and living in self-isolation. Check out the livestream performance and full interview below.
