Texas In July announce spring tour, release new studio update
Texas In July have been making a few changes lately and, as a result, they have more than a few announcements. First and foremost, touring vocalist JT Cavey, who performed with the band throughout the Vans Warped Tour last summer, has become a fulltime member of Texas In July. “I know we, as a band, have been longing to show old and new fans what the new Texas In July line-up is all about. We want to leave every pair of eyes and ears with a whole new intensity and fulfillment that you have never experienced from us before,” says Cavey.
And what better way to showcase a new vocalist than to introduce the lineup though in-studio videos? The band just recorded their fourth studio album and in support of their endeavor, they filmed three videos that exemplify the process. You can check out their latest video, out today, below.
“Going into this next run with JT being officially announced is extremely exciting. It's something that has been long awaited on our end, as well as our fans. We now have the opportunity to really share the new and improved TIJ, and what a better way than touring all throughout Canada and the US,” says bassist Ben Witkowski.
The band’s first tour with Cavey as an official member will take place in April in Canada. Tickets for their Canadian run are available online. Then, from the second half of April through August, the band will be hitting festivals in the U.S., along with a short U.S. tour. Tickets for the U.S. headlining tour will go on sale this Friday.
