The 1975 appear as 'Jeopardy!' answer that no one got right

Jeopardy! is no stranger to producing questions for its contestants that pertain to some of our scene favorites. Whether it’s a twenty one pilots inspired question or a contestant confessing they’d spend their winnings on Taco Bell, there’s always something we can relate to in this game show. Now, it looks like we’ll get to add the 1975 to the list!

There have been a few occasions where contestants have left us yelling at our TVs in frustration, like the time one guy thought Jack White was Eminem. As of last night, we have one more incident to include as the 1975 were unveiled as an answer to a question that no one got right.

It’s fine. Everything is fine.

The long-running game show is currently in its Teen Tournament where contestants range between the ages of 13 and 17.

Last night, the show dropped this clue:

I like it when you sleep, for you are so beautiful yet so unaware of it was a no. 1 album for this ‘yearly’ band.”

Unfortunately, while we were screaming “The 1975!” at our TVs, absolutely none of the contestants answered.

This isn’t the first time Jeopardy! contestants have left us with our faces in our palms.

In April, one contestant committed the ultimate sin by mixing up the emo trinity.

Host Alex Trebek asked, “In 2018 this band ‘didn’t have a dime but I always had a vision, always had high, high hopes.’”

So when the contest should have answered “Who is Panic! At The Disco?” he answered, “Who is Fall Out Boy?”

Fall Out Boy had the perfect response.
