Listen to the 1975's heartfelt new song "Sincerity Is Scary"

The 1975 show some tenderness on new song “Sincerity Is Scary,” the fourth advance cut from the band’s upcoming new album A Brief Inquiry Into Online Relationships. Check out the latest track from the skyrocketing English rockers, below.

The song follows “Give Yourself A Try,” “Love It If We Made It,” and “TOOTIMETOOTIMETOOTIME” in building anticipation for the band’s first full-length effort since their 2016 second album. Premiering “Sincerity Is Scary” with Zane Lowe on Thursday, the 1975’s Matty Healy describes the song’s modern irony:

“‘Sincerity Is Scary'” is about me trying to denounce all of that postmodern fear of like being real, you know? Like, ‘Irony first. Make sure you’re ironic because then you can’t be judged on being a person.'”

Plus, the 1975 just recently teamed up with No Rome on his slinky new single “Narcissist,” and Healy and company unleashed a vivid music video for “TOOTIME” late last month. A Brief Inquiry Into Online Relationships is due Nov. 30.
