The Amity Affliction and Senses Fail are currently on their Misery Will Find You co-headlining tour with Belmont and Silent Planet as support.

The bands were supposed to hit Chicago tonight at the Concord Music Hall, but decided to cancel the show due to severe weather conditions.

“Unfortunately this morning as we arrived in Chicago, the promoter cancelled tonight’s show due to the severe weather,” the Amity Affliction wrote on Twitter. “We are very sorry, please stay safe.”

The band also shared a statement with more details on the decision.

“It is simply unsafe for patrons and workers to put themselves at risk in these dangerously low temperatures,” they explained. “We apologize for any inconvenience but safety must always remain the first priority.”

All tickets will be refunded at the point of purchase and fans should direct questions to Ticketfly. The tour is scheduled to continue on Feb. 1 in Denver, Colorado.
