The Maine drummer Pat Kirch rang in the new year by marrying his longtime partner Shacara Nemetz. The couple’s ceremony was held Saturday with Kirch’s bandmates, family and friends in attendance.

Kirch and Nemetz announced their engagement back in April with Kirch writing, “I can’t wait to spend the rest of my life with her. I’ve been waiting for this moment for a long time. She make[s] all of the good times and the bad times better. I’ve never been more certain of anything in my life and when you know you know. Everything just feels right. Life won’t always be perfect but I’ll always be there ❤️ you forever.”
