The Mandalorian season 3 trailer promises action, redemption and more Grogu cuteness
The galaxy is not too far away, as it has been officially revealed that Disney+’s hit Star Wars spin-off series The Mandalorian is returning for its third season March 1.
On Monday night, a new trailer for the series was released, which shows the recently reunited pair of Din Djarin (Pedro Pascal) and his adorable sidekick Grogu heading to the hellish landscape of the planet Mandalore in an attempt to make up for Din’s “past transgressions.”

Din and Grogu are expected to reconvene with a host of “past allies,” aka other Mandalorians, whom Din reveals in a voice-over were “scattered like stars in the galaxy” and asserts that his purpose as a Mandalorian is not simply to “learn how to fight” but instead to know how to “navigate the galaxy.” Fans will also be pleasantly surprised to see the return of several familiar faces, including Greef Karga (Carl Weathers) and Peli Motto (Amy Sedaris), throughout the galaxy-spanning epic.
While Din is a force to be reckoned with in his own right, we see in the new trailer that Grogu’s use of the force has grown exponentially. While he may be the cutest thing we have ever seen this side of the galaxy, he’s able to take down even the most menacing alien foes with confidence and ease.
