QUIZ: How well do you remember the lyrics to the Used’s “All That I’ve Got”?

Many of us can recall the Used with their iconic “All That I’ve Got” music video. Some of us have probably even imagined sitting atop a large pile of books and getting pulled into a story with the band in their A Clockwork Orange-inspired fits.

“All That I’ve Got” was inspired by frontman Bert McCracken’s real-life tragedy where his dog, David Bowie, was hit by a car. The track comes from the band’s 2004 LP, In Love And Death, which is having its 16th anniversary today.

More on the Used

Earlier this year, the Used shared their music video for “The Lighthouse” featuring Mark Hoppus from their latest record, Heartwork.

The music video features home videos recorded from frontline workers, including nurses, retail employees, first responders, grocery store clerks, delivery drivers and more essential workers.

The band reached out to fans and asked for pictures and videos for the project. Fans shared shots from inside hospital environments, kissing their families goodbye and dancing with their furry friends. Some individuals even rocked out in their band merch on the job.

“Doubt can be an avalanche. It can cascade out and infect everything it touches. Inspiration is also infectious,” said frontman Bert McCracken of the track. “The original chorus lyric was ‘I can’t be your lighthouse,’ until I was reminded by my 6-year-old daughter that I can be and I am. It helps to remember that we all have the capability to inspire someone in our own way.”
