On “Wyatt’s Song (Your Name),” lead vocalist Dan Campbell captures a lifetime’s worth of anxiety and joy in under four minutes. As a new father, Campbell has been grappling with all the ways he or the world might fail his son, but he’s resolute to do right by him.

Campbell explained his mission in a press release.

“It’s about raising children in a world that feels like it’s actively ending and how to make them feel safe and cared for despite that,” Campbell says. “It tries to breathe in the small, beautiful moments and exhale all of the invasive thoughts of despair.”
