The Hulk will feature in 'Thor: Ragnarok'

Chatter about the Hulk's role (or lack thereof) in the upcoming Captain America: Civil War has swept the Marvel internet for months, and while that question likely won't receive a final answer until the film hits theaters in May 2016, we now know for sure that Hulk will feature in 2017's Thor: Ragnarok.

Variety reports that Mark Ruffalo is in final negotiations to bring Bruce Banner back for the third stand-alone Thor film, which might hint toward the long-rumored Planet Hulk film in the pipeline. Details are scarce, as negotiations are not yet final, but it's looking like Phase Three of the Cinematic Universe will once again raise all of the stakes to planetary levels.

Thor: Ragnarok hits theaters November 3, 2017.
