The Pretty Reckless have won Best Hard Rock Artist, presented by Metal Blade Records & Blacklight Media, at the 2017 Journey’s Alternative Press Music Awards, Fueled By Monster!

“Thank you. We’re the Pretty Reckless. Thank you guys so much. We’d love to thank AP for having us and for the award, but honestly, we’d like to thank the fans because without you, we wouldn’t be here right now. Thank you guys so much,” said Taylor Momsen.

Over the course of three albums, the NYC rockers — led by charismatic vocalist Taylor Momsen and guitarist Ben Phillips — have been delivering fist-pumping tracks hard enough to reflect the madness of modern life and fit perfectly for a sequel to Almost Famous. Check out their latest single featuring Warren Haynes, “Back to the River.”

Following a fan vote, the band won over fellow nominees Bullet For My Valentine, Halestorm, Highly Suspect, In This Moment and Korn.

The Pretty Reckless are also nominated for Artist Of The Year at the 2017 awards.
