The Word Alive, “Play The Victim” lyric video premiere
The Word Alive are teaming up with AP to bring you the premiere of the lyric video for their brand new single, “Play The Victim.” The track is taken from the band’s upcoming third studio album, Real, which will be released June 10 via Fearless Records. Watch the lyric video, which also has footage of the band in the studio and performing live, and tell us what you think.
Frontman Telle Smith states: “With the upcoming release of our third full-length record, we wanted to release a song that showcased our overall growth as a band. 'Play The Victim' was our personal choice. It has elements from our early days as well as the progression we've strived for with every release. We never want to release the same song twice, and we feel it stands on it's own. Our new record, Real, will be out just before Warped Tour this Summer, and we look forward to the next chapter as a band. Stay tuned, because we have something for everyone this time around!”
“Play The Victim” can be downloaded on iTunes today.
