This look at ‘Stranger Things 4’ may have just revealed a new character
Stranger Things recently resumed filming for season 4 following severe coronavirus pandemic delays.
Now, new exclusive photos from the set of the Netflix series offer a glimpse into what the Hawkins crew is up to. As well, it looks like a new character may be joining the show.

There is still a lot we don’t know about Stranger Things 4. However, various hints and information about the upcoming season have been revealed over the past few months. So, as a quick recap, here is what we know so far.
Viewers got their first sneak peek at the new season back in February. In the exclusive teaser, it’s confirmed that Hopper is still alive after he was presumed dead at the end of season 3. However, he is definitely not in Hawkins anymore.

David Harbour who plays Hopper revealed in a March interview that season 4 is likely to premiere in 2021 due to the unforeseen delays. Shortly following this, Harbour also shared that season 4 will heavily focus on Hopper’s backstory. As well, there are a lot of Easter eggs about season 4 in previous episodes that many viewers have missed.

“In season two, Eleven goes into the basement of the cabin and there’s five boxes, one of which has Brenner’s stuff from Hawkins Lab, one of which says ‘Dad,’ one of which says ‘Vietnam,’” Harbour says. “One says “New York.” So there are these three things that we’ve established in the season that if we don’t pay off, it means that they’re bad writers. And the Duffer Brothers are very good writers.”
Then, in May, after a few months of silence from the Stranger Things cast, The Duffer Brothers revealed some key secrets about what’s in store for the Hawkins crew and Hopper.
“Meanwhile, back in the states, a new horror is beginning to surface, something long-buried, something that connects everything,” they say. “Season 4 is shaping up to be the biggest and most frightening season yet. And we cannot wait for everyone to see more. In the meantime, pray for the American.”

More recently, in June, the Stranger Things writers revealed just how many episodes are in season 4. The writers shared a photo of nine scripts, hinting that nine new episodes are on the way.
Finally, earlier this month, Stranger Things confirmed that filming for season 4 has resumed following the delays. The series shared an exclusive sneak peek that is all about time and the Upside Down.

Now, fans are getting another behind-the-scenes look at Stranger Things 4. Thanks to Just Jared, over 40 new photos from the set have been shared that reveal quite a few things about the new season.

To start, it looks like Steve (Joe Keery) and Robin (Maya Hawke) have ditched the Starcourt Mall for Hawkins’ local video store. As well, a few of the photos seem to reveal that a new character may be joining Stranger Things 4.
Steve can be seen flirtatiously eyeing a fresh face in the behind-the-scenes photos. The exclusive images have many fans wondering if this new character could be Steve’s love interest in the new season.
Along with Keery and Hawke, Gaten Matarazzo and Sadie Sink have also returned to the set to reprise their roles as Dustin and Max.
