This new MCR Funko Pop! is a nod to one of their classic album covers

All of you My Chemical Romance fans out there have another Funko Pop! to add to your collection.

This week, photos of a new MCR Funko Pop! figure emerged and it looks like the latest collectible is a true nod to one of their classic album covers.

My Chemical Romance and Funko have teamed up together quite a few times in the past. Back in 2015, MCR launched their very own line of Pop! Rock figures. They first released Three Cheers For Sweet Revenge figures, followed by The Black Parade Pop!s that featured some with and without the signature skeleton makeup.

Then, earlier this year, rumors emerged that Funko was planning to release a new The Black Parade Pop! figure as part of their Pop! Albums collection. According to a Reddit post, The Black Parade was among the LPs being considered for the popular Funko line.

Now, it appears that those rumors were actually true. This week, a sneak peek of a new Pepe Black Parade Funko Pop! was released. As part of the Pop! Albums collection, the Parade Leader has been transformed into the ultimate MCR collectible. The new vinyl figure comes equipped with Pepe’s signature Black Parade uniform, band hat and conductor’s wand.

At this time, Funko has not confirmed when the new Black Parade Funko! pop is arriving. However, the Pepe vinyl figure joins other Pop! Album figures in the collection including Lil Wayne‘s Tha Carter III.

The Pop! unveiling arrives at the perfect time seeing as The Black Parade just celebrated its 14th anniversary back in October.

Following the photos surfacing on Reddit, Funko has officially confirmed the new The Black Parade Pop! is on pre-order now.

Funko previously expanded its My Chemical Romance collection earlier this year. Back in June, new leaks of a Gerard Way Pop! from the Danger Days era were released. Shortly after, the company officially launched the new collectible which is now available at Hot Topic and other retailers.

In other My Chemical Romance news, fans have seemingly found a way to still experience their live shows in 2020. This week, their live album Life On The Murder Scene officially re-entered the Billboard 200 14 years after its release.
