This map shows which emoji your state uses the most

SwiftKey, a custom keyboard app that allows you to type by swiping from key-to-key, has compiled data that shows every state’s most commonly used emoji (via The Washington Post).

Earlier today, the company announced that they are now keeping track of your most commonly typed words and which emojis you use most frequently. This information will be used to determine your “signature emoji.”

For now, you can see which emojis are most popular in each of our 50 states, according to data from SwiftKey users. Over at the company's official website, an interactive map is available to poke around with. When you click on a state, three emoji's pop up, which are presumably placed in decreasing frequency, from left to right. To reiterate, this data is taken from only SwiftKey users, so the data of those using other keyboards is not being taken into consideration.

Do you think there's any accuracy behind this map?
