Thrift_store_collapse_-_News_620-400

This thrift store collapsed under the weight of too many vinyl records

You might think we're just yankin' your chain on this one, but this actually happened. A San Diego-based thrift store used to hold an extensive collection of vinyl on its second floor. The stockpile was so large, however, that the floor gave way under the excess weight, leaving a wake of destruction throughout the remainder of the store. Thankfully, nobody was injured when the collapse took place. You can watch a local news report on the incident over at the TV station's official website.
