This Wild Life talk bad jokes, Bring Me The Horizon covers and other AP Tour stories

The last days of the AP Tour with As It Is, This Wild Life, Real Friends and Mayday Parade are approaching quickly, so APTV checked in with This Wild Life to talk about their experience on tour, bad jokes and the changes they’ve made to their setlist.

“We’ve been touring off our same CD Clouded for awhile and we were trying to do a different set. So we’re actually trying to play a lot of slower, more intimate songs—songs that Kevin can actually tell a story about before we play them,” says Anthony DelGrosso.

The new set list includes a cover of “Sleepwalking” by Bring Me The Horizon that they have never played on a U.S. tour before.

“At this point in our record cycle, we’ve been out to a lot of these areas multiple times so we’re having to try to change up the set list to introduce some new things and keep it interesting—for not only the fans, but just for us,” says Kevin Jordan. “You get tired of playing the same set list every night.”

Jordan thinks he has mad joke-skills when he introduces the cover as “Bitch Don’t Kill My Vibe” by Kendrick Lamar, but his band mate DelGrosso thinks otherwise.

“I think all of his jokes are bad live,” says DelGrosso. “I wish he would stop doing all of them, but it’s never going to stop.” — Jake Hanson
