Thrice frontman covers Lorde’s “Buzzcut Season”

Earlier this year, Thrice’s Dustin Kensrue told fans that touring from the band was “very likely” and that he suspected the band would record again. So far, nothing new from the band has surfaced. But at the Pegasus Music Festival in Dallas, Texas, Kensrue performed an interesting cover of Lorde’s “Buzzcut Season.” Watch fan-shot footage of the cover below, and let us know how you think he did.

Thrice’s latest full-length album, Major/Minor, was released in 2011 via Vagrant Records. The band also released a live album in 2012, Anthology.
