Thy Art Is Murder barred from playing Disney venues

Thy Art Is Murder have been barred from playing Disney/House Of Blues venues in Anaheim, California and Lake Buena Vista, Florida on their upcoming tour with Parkway Drive. “We are very sorry to announce that due to the narrow minded, corporate censoring goons over at Disney, we will be unable to join Parkway Drive on their upcoming dates at Anaheim on October 30 and Orlando Lake Buena Vista on November 23,” said the band in an official statement.

This isn’t TAIM’s first conflict with a Disney-owned venue: Roughly two years ago they were barred from performing on Disney’s grounds. In response to their banning, the band released a Bad Brains-themed T-shirt, which they are re-pressing for a limited time.
