TikTok users take on roulette piercing challenge in viral trend
TikTok is an app that has gained massive popularity due to its short, lip-sync and comedic videos, used by celebrities and fans alike. While every day brings on a new trend, the piercing challenge is one of the latest to hit the app in recent weeks.
Challenges such as the Haribo challenge (forming gummy bears as a crowd while Adele’s “Someone Like You” plays) and the raindrop challenge (adding effects that imitate rain, then halting the rain in accordance with the music beats) have become favored on TikTok, with the piercing challenge is becoming one of the newest trends.
For the #piercingchallenge, users are placing a Snapchat filter over their face, keeping their eyes closed while the filter cycles through a number of facial piercings, which include septum, dimple, labret, and nose piercings.
Once the user opens their eyes, they are then supposed to get the piercing that the filter has mirrored on their face (professionally preferred).
Like most things that involve a needle, piercings should be left up to a professional. So if you must participate, please don’t try this at home. It’s not as easy as it looks, no matter what you might think. You need the proper equipment, experience, and knowledge to avoid complications. Plus who really wants to make a possible permanent mistake on their face?

A far less potentially dangerous trend took TikTok by storm shortly after the release of Waterparks’ latest FANDOM. “I Miss Having Sex But At Least I Don’t Wanna Die Anymore” went viral on the app to the point of becoming the band’s No. 1 song on Spotify.
TikTok users are utilizing the song’s chorus as a hilarious punchline to various questions. The band noticed and took to Twitter to address it in their signature caps lock approach.
