Tom DeLonge plays two blink-182 songs at intimate Angels & Airwaves gig

Last night, Angels & Airwaves hit the stage for their first live performance since 2012. It was a highly anticipated show, with presales for the intimate California venue selling out in seconds. Those who were lucky enough to attend were in for quite a treat as vocalist Tom DeLonge performed two iconic blink-182 tracks.

AVA took the stage at Belly Up in Solana Beach, California for a very special and intimate performance.

Earlier in the day, the band teased the show asking fans if they were ready for last night’s performance.

The hour-and-a-half set included a whopping 22 songs! Two of those included frontman Tom DeLonge performing blink-182’s “Aliens Exist” and the infamous “I Miss You.”

During the set, DeLonge also performed Boxcar Racer’s “There Is.”

It’s safe to say that DeLonge is going to be the voice inside our yeeead today.

Earlier this week, AVA released a teaser for their new track “Kiss And Tell,” slated to drop TOMORROW!

The teaser shows the silhouette of a person with their hands against a foggy wall. The song reminds us a bit of the latest season of Stranger Things with its ‘80s vibe. You can see it for yourself below.

There’s still no date on the release of Angels & Airwaves’ new album but any new content is certainly appreciated. And blink-182 might have something to look forward to as DeLonge stated “In many ways, what Angels is doing on this next record is kinda what my vision for where I wanted Blink to go in the future was.”

Angels & Airwaves are hitting plenty of cities this tour and already teasing another. Tickets for the released dates can be purchased here with dates below.
