The world is enamoured right now with the Netflix documentary series Tiger King: Murder, Mayhem and Madness spurring an onslaught of memes online and now members of blink-182 are jokingly bickering over which one would get to be the series’ star Joe Exotic.

For some context in case you haven’t seen the show, Joseph Allen Maldonado-Passage is an incarcerated former zoo operator and self-professed most prolific tiger breeder in the U.S.

He ran an exotic animal park in Oklahoma and twice unsuccessfully ran for public office in 2016 and 2018. The documentary series focuses on the feud between Joe and animal rights activist Carole Baskin. It also involves a lot of issues relating to a murder for hire plot as well as the disappearance of Baskin’s husband who went missing in 1997.

Now, the internet has been captivated with the wild stories involved in the new Netflix series.

Tom DeLonge joined in with a meme showing Joe Exotic and his friends just hanging out with their shirts off. DeLonge claims in his post that he would be Joe but Hoppus made his way into the comments saying “The Hell you’re Joe. I’m Joe.”

Tom gave a great reply saying “either way, you and I end up deeply in love and raising cats.”
