Tom Morello throws fan's phone after warning on cell phone use onstage

Tom Morello wrapped up his tour last night at 101WKQZ’s Piqniq at the Hollywood Casino Amphitheater in Tinley Park, Illinois.

At the end of the night, Morello brought some fans onstage to close out his set, asking those onstage not to put a cell phone in his face so they could enjoy the moment.

If you don’t abide by Morello’s rules, you’ll have to deal with the consequences.

Morello gave an incredible performance to end his tour run, bringing Tim McIlrath of Rise Against out for a few amazing tracks, including “How Long” and “The Ghost Of Tom Joad.”

Morello finished the night by bringing fans onstage with him.

According to 101WKQX as well as multiple show attendees, Morello asked fans not to put cell phones in his face, wanting them to enjoy the moment instead.

One fan didn’t seem to get the memo, attempting to take a selfie with Morello while he was playing.

Morello then grabs the fan’s phone, chucking it into the crowd without missing a beat.

Most fans fully supported Morello’s move, especially since he gave the attendees a fair warning in advance.

However, some did not approve of Morello tossing the fan’s phone offstage.
