For the “Reminders” video, Touché Amoré asked one question, “What serves as a reminder for love in your life?” As it turns out, the answer is quite simple – pets. All throughout the video, Touché Amoré are joined by dozen of familiar faces and their beloved furry friends.

Along with those previously mentioned, FEVER 333‘s Jason Aalon Butler, Jimmy Eat World‘s Jim Adkins, Manchester Orchestra‘s Andy Hull and Every Time I Die‘s Keith Buckley all appear in the video.

As well, members of Tigers Jaw, Joyce Manor, Rise Against and Saves The Day can be seen with their furry friends. And, as if the video wasn’t already jam-packed, Scarypoolparty and Atypical star Keir Gilchrist also make cameos.

Touché Amoré’s Jeremy Bolm shares that “Reminders” was born out of the overwhelming anxiety he felt as a result of Donald Trump‘s impeachment trial.

“I think when we are all panicking, we need to have those reminders that there’s love out there for us whether we believe it or not and that’s all that we can really trust to save us,” he says.

For the video, the band decided to create something that captures joy and love during these rather dark times.

“The music video for ‘Reminders’ conceptually was driven by bringing some joy to everyone’s timelines,” Bolm says. “If we can provide even just three minutes of joy to someone right now that’s enough for us, and who doesn’t love seeing awesome people and their pets?”

Touché Amoré greatly enjoyed putting this video together and receiving the joy-filled footage back from their friends.

“Putting this video together was such a pleasure because it involved talking to friends we love and getting wholesome footage in return,” Bolm continues. “The people involved include artists we admire and contributors to the album. We hope you love it as much as we do.”

“Reminders” is off of Touché Amoré’s forthcoming Lament which is due out Oct. 9 via Epitaph Records.  In celebration of the album’s release, the band have announced a livestream performance which is taking place on Oct. 12 at 6 P.M. PT/9 P.M. ET via Twitch.
