What are Wes Borland and Travis Barker working on?

In each band's late-'90s/early-aughts heyday, you would've been hard-pressed to find the members of Limp Bizkit and blink-182 collaborating with each other. Nevertheless, here we are—in the year of our Lord, 2018—and LB guitarist Wes Borland and blink drum basher Travis Barker seemingly have a new project together. Get a taste of it here.

We first reported back in February that the two musicians were hooking up on some recording sessions, with Borland sharing a quick vid on Instagram of Barker wailing on the kit. “Doing drums with the man himself Travis Barker on a yet to be titled new project,” the guitarist announced, leaving fans of each act wondering what the heck was going on.

Now, Borland has shared a double dose of Barker clips, with the blink percussionist again thrashing the drums for whatever this new project ends up being. (Blink Bizkit? Limp-182?) Two months ago, the Limp Bizkit member shared that he and the drummer “wrote seven songs in 12 hours. That’s a new record. More drums from Travis Barker to come.”

Well, whatever these two are up to, it sure looks exciting. The new clips obviously show Barker in a recording studio with Borland, and the second of the videos has the guitarist admiring the blink drummer's work from behind the mixing desk. Watch both below, and let us know what you think of the new Borland/Barker project in the comments.
