Lil Nas X’s country-rap track “Old Town Road” has taken over America, with its various remixes including Billy Ray Cyrus, Young Thug and more.

It’s also been nominated for various awards, including Musical Event Of The Year at the CMA awards. And because the song samples Nine Inch Nails track “34 Ghosts IV” Reznor and Atticus Ross are both nominated as well.

Although Reznor didn’t tweet anything about the nomination, Cyrus and Lil Nas both did. You can see those posts below.

“Old Town Road” was Billboard’s longest-leading Hot 100 song of all time, spending 19 weeks at the top spot. It was just dethroned by Billie Eilish’s track bad guy.”

Eilish’s song had remained at the No. 2 spot for nine weeks, the most amount of time for any song prior to it hitting No. 1.

“bad guy” is the second track on Eilish’s debut album When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go? And is a bass-heavy, taunting song that we can’t get out of our heads.

Lil Nas took to Twitter to congratulate the 17-year-old singer on beating his record.
