I just got hooked on them when I was younger. The more I listened, the more I felt inspired and connected, and just being here right now is so special. I am originally from South Africa, but they just don’t have these gigs there. I am happy I am here.

 Andrew, 20 (R), Loukas, 18 (L)

Andrew: I became a fan when I came across the “Stressed Out” music video. I like the song, but that handshake got me hooked. I listened more and more and fell in love. They are my favorite band of all time.

Loukas: I too liked the “Stressed Out” video but had to see more of what they had to offer. The more I looked, the more I fell for their fanbase. When Vessel came out, it since then has been my favorite album. It just spoke to me.

I flew in from Romania, arrived at 10 p.m. yesterday and came straight here. I couldn’t miss this. Been in this line for over 10 hours. Their music is loose, new formula yet different. The concepts, the stories all mean so much to me. The lyrics and meanings of all of their music hold a special place in my heart. It has so much meaning to it.

I’m from Spain. They saved my life. Emotionally, they saved me. The music is more than amazing; it’s life. I’ve been a fan for over six years now, and nothing is changing. The Clique community saved me. It’s just so beautiful. Also not to brag, I’ve been here since 11 p.m. yesterday, fresh from a gig at this venue.

My grandma actually turned me onto them. I remember hearing it in the car and thinking, “What is this?” but then finally gave it a listen and never looked back. Four years straight loving the band and it’s been unforgettable.

Georgia Rose, 22 (L), Katie Winton, 25 (R)

Georgia: I’ve been a fan and listening to them for the past 10 years. It shaped my life, childhood and my education. Even my final year project at uni was inspired by them.

Katie: I remember watching MTV and “Ride” came out, and it had vibes of so many different genres of music. It just meant so much at the time and still does.

Niall: I heard them at Leeds by mistake. I didn’t even know them and wanted to leave. I am happy I didn’t.

Lily: My mum brought me a CD many, many years ago. I don’t know why, but I am happy I got it.

Abby: They were my first concert I’ve been to. It’s a community that you just don’t see. I actually don’t know this group — we just met today!
