Nominees for the MTV EMA Awards are finally here, and there’s some pretty tough competition coming out for the categories of “Best Rock” and “Best Alternative.”

It’s been a pretty major year for music, so seeing the list of who the competition this year is, looks like it’s going to be pretty impossible to choose from.
In the category of “Best Rock,” we’ll be seeing 5 Seconds Of Summer and Foo Fighters going head to head, with twenty one pilots, Fall Out Boy, Panic! At The Disco and the 1975 all battling it out in the “Best Alternative” category.
Our heads are spinning!
The competition will be especially tough thanks to the massive amount of hits being released by these bands in the past year. With new music from 5SOS, twenty one pilots, Panic! At The Disco, Fall Out Boy, and more, we have our work cut out for us in terms of picking who should win.

The winners of the EMAs will be chosen by whoever received the most votes in a given category, so it’s up to fans to pick their favorite artists. You can get your votes in by going here.
Fans will get the chance to find out who out of these categories (and more) will be victorious in a little under a month! The 2018 MTV EMA is set to take place on Nov. 4 at the Bilbao Exhibition Centre.
