More on twenty one pilots

As previously stated, twenty one pilots dropped the new track with a video on April 9.

The montaged video features the band with their loved ones, including Josh Dun’s fiance (possibly wife) Debby Ryan, Jenna Joseph and new baby Rosie. Check it out here or the Reel Bear Media-directed video here.

Three days prior to the drop, Tyler Joseph took to Twitter to reveal he was working on a new song. He and Dun were sending the mix back and forth because they’re social distancing, but they still delivered the song.

Additionally, the band are also donating a portion of proceeds to crew members affected by the worldwide touring cancellations amid the coronavirus pandemic. At the beginning of April, Live Nation launched the Crew Nation initiative as a $10 million benefit fund to aid tour crew members. Joseph mentioned this specifically in tweets regarding how the band want to give back.

In addition to some of the track’s proceeds being donated to Live Nation‘s fund, the band are also selling a limited run of fundraising Crew Nation hoodies here.

“The entire touring industry is built upon the backs of hardworking crews that make it possible for bands and artists to perform for their fans,” the hoodie’s description reads. “As tours have shut down, we want to do what we can to get these men and women back on their feet.

“A portion of proceeds from the tøp crew nation hoodie will go to crew nation – global relief fund for live music crews. Crew members are the backbone of the live music industry, and we hope you’ll join us in supporting them through this temporary intermission until we can once again unite millions around the world through the power of live music.”
