Green Day and Twenty One Pilots to perform at AMAs
The AMAs has become much more exciting today (Oct. 26) when it was announced that this year's award show will feature performances by both Green Day and Twenty One Pilots.
While Green Day performed at the 2009 AMAs (watch it below!), this will be Twenty One Pilot's first performance on the award show.

Twenty One Pilots are also nominated for three awards during the night, including the prestigious Artist of the Year where they will be competing against Adele, Beyoncé, Justin Bieber, Drake, Selena Gomez, Ariana Grande, Rihanna, Carrie Underwood and The Weeknd. Those ten nominees will be reduced to five on Nov. 17.
Twenty One Pilots are a nominee for Favorite Pop/Rock Group, along with Favorite Alternative Rock Artist, as well.

The 2016 AMAs will be live on ABC Nov. 20.
