Bring Me The Horizon’s Oli Sykes, twenty one pilot’s Tyler Joseph and many others recently shared their favorite releases of the year.

For Oli Sykes, he says that “the best thing he heard all year” was experimental soul artist Serpentwithfeet’s latest record Soil.

“Serpentwithfeet is probably one of the few artists that I would actually care about seeing live again because it was so insane,” Sykes says. “While he was playing, he’d be going out and talking to the crowd about current events and stuff, all the while still singing in this crazy, R&B voice. He’s incredible, his lyrics are amazing, his live show is brilliant, and it’s a sick album.”

Funny enough, Tyler Joseph claimed that Bring Me The Horizon’s song “MANTRA” was one of his favorite releases of the year. Additionally, Joseph talked about how much he loved Young The Giant’s “Superposition.”

Additionally, Fall Out Boy’s Pete Wentz gave some love to friend and tourmate nothing,nowhere..

“I think that he tapped into general anxieties that we all feel every day in a really heartfelt way,” Wentz says. “He always does it with an interesting visual, so I would say that everything he wrote and recorded this year was my favourite. Ruiner was the thing that I listened to probably more than anything though. I think that he really could be big, but it depends what he decides to do.”

Of the other artists featured, Linkin Park’s Mike Shinoda mentioned Grandson’s “Blood // Water,” Billie Eilish’s “You Should See Me In A Crown” and Foxing’s “Grand Paradise.”
