Underoath release cathartic, heavy anthem "Let Go"

Allow rock veterans Underoath to help you to “Let Go.”

Today, the band dropped their latest single, “Let Go,” which marks their first release via MNRK Heavy. The cathartic, heavy anthem comes after the band released their ninth studio album, Voyeurist, just last year.

Of the new song, the band stated in a press release, “This is actually the first song we completed after recording Voyeurist. It took a few different forms, but we got it to a place where we knew this is what it should be. It’s about letting go of whatever trauma or demons that might be holding you back. As hard as it is to make those decisions sometimes, I feel like we can never grow without stepping out of those toxic environments.”

You can definitely count on the band to already play “Let Go” live, too. Their keyboardist and synth player Chris Dudley took to Twitter to reveal the song is making the setlist on their upcoming slate of tour dates, tweeting, “Learn it. Scream it. See you at the show.”

Listen to the song below and see when you’ll be able to “scream it” live soon.
