Over the past few months, Vans has unveiled various collections and collaborations. Most recently, Vans launched its DIY-inspired Tiger Patchwork collection. As well, the brand teamed up with National Geographic for a nature-themed line.

Now, Vans is planning to release a new collection. This time, the company is collaborating with everyone's favorite cartoon family - The Simpsons.

The skate brand first teamed up with the Springfield family in July 2007 when The Simpsons Movie was released. Now, it looks like they are back together for another new collaboration.

The 2007 The Simpsons collection included various redesigned classics including the Sk8-Hi, Sk8-Mid and slip-on. Customers were able to purchase various shoes featuring the beloved cartoon family members. Products in the line peaked at around $100 following the launch.

The shoes also came in boxes featuring various Simpsons characters. Of course, the boxes were in the signature Simpsons yellow. Now, some of the shoes from the collaboration are highly sought after. One particular pair is selling for over $1500 these days.

At this time, Vans has not revealed when the collection is launching. In the meantime, check out this baseball player who customized a pair of Sk8-His to wear on the baseball diamond.
