Vans has been cranking out a lot of new collections over the past few years. The brand recently launched its collab “Vans x Nat Geo” in honor of National Geographics‘ anniversary. The streetwear company has also launched a milk-tea inspired Old Skool collection and a “washed out aesthetic” footwear line in recent months.

Now, Vans is releasing another new collection this year. On Wednesday, the company announced the launch of its Tiger Patchwork line.

“The Tiger Patchwork pack pays homage to our iconic checkerboard pattern and the DIY movement with bold colors and materials.”

For the fall season, the new collection remasters the Sk8-Hi, Era and Classic Slip-On shoes. Each style includes innovative fabrics of various colors, patterns and mixed materials. Together, the designs help to create one of Vans’ most unique collections yet.

The upper of each shoe is decorated with a combination of prints including paisley, gingham, tigers and, of course, Vans’ classic checkerboard. As well, each shoe silhouette features a complimentary colorway. The sizing and pattern placement on each design is unique. This means that every pair of shoes in the collection are truly one-of-a-kind.

“The Sk8-Hi, an elevated version of the legendary lace-up high top, is the hero of the pack,” Vans says on the collection. “It features seamless overlays of patches that offer an evolved version of patchwork, tied together by the classic Sidestripe, metal eyelets, and padded collar. The Era and Classic Slip-On profiles showcase more pronounced mosaics with visible overlays, drawing in the eye with expressive design aesthetics.”

Along with the recent collection, Vans has also worked with individuals including Tony Hawk to give back to the community. Alongside its Black Lives Matter donations, Vans also recently launched an Autism Awareness line. The company is also using shoe materials to help frontline workers amid the coronavirus pandemic.
