Ice Nine Kills on ‘The Silver Scream’ and all things horror

Spencer Charnas of Ice Nine Kills recently caught up with APTV to chat about creepy kid’s toys, creative uses of wood chippers and gush over horror maestro Wes Craven.

In anticipation of INK’s bloody-good new record, The Silver Scream, we chatted up Charnas on all things horror–from zombie fighting to ideal drive-in double features. Charnas even made the painful choice between Marilyn Manson and the Smiths.

Ice Nine Nails recently released a music video for their single “A Grave Mistake.” The track is from their new album The Silver Scream, out Oct. 5. The band is also on tour with Atreyu, Memphis May Fire and Sleep Signals.

Ice Nine Kills’ recently released a dark music video for “A Grave Mistake.” It’s heavy and haunting, depicting lead singer Spencer Charnas’s double life. The track is one of 13 new songs from The Silver Scream. In true Ice Nine Kills fashion, each song pays homage to a classic horror film. Their new video has ties to the scary movie, The Crow.
