If you’re spending the holidays with Sleeping With Sirens guitarist Jack Fowler’s family, it might not be all turkey and cranberry sauce. By the end of the celebration, you may very well be counting yourself lucky to have made it out alive.

Hear Fowler recount the time he nearly mowed his own grandfather down in a wild Thanksgiving moped accident!

More on Sleeping With Sirens

Sleeping With Sirens recently released a music video for their song, “Better Off Dead.” The clip, which looks to have been recorded in the same house Taking Back Sunday used for their “Flicker, Fade” video, can be seen below.

“Better Off Dead” is taken from the band’s latest studio album, Madness, which was released earlier this year via Epitaph Records.

This summer, Sleeping With Sirens’ “Kick Me” was nominated for Song Of The Year at the 2015 APMAs beating out Beartooth, Motionless In White, Real Friends, Set It Off and PVRIS.

Christofer “Give It Up For Pizza” Drew of Never Shout Never, Nik Bruzzese of Man Overboard, and Bryce Avary of The Rocket Summer presented the band with the award.

“God damn, we won, yeah!” guitarist Nick Martin begins during their acceptance speech. “Sorry that Kellin [Quinn, vocals] and Justin [Hills, bass] aren’t here. They’re at home with their families, relaxing. Honestly, we had no fucking clue that we were going to win this award, so thank you guys so much. Much love to all the fans. Obviously without you guys, we would not be up here. None of this would exist right here, so thank you so much. Much love to AP, to Mike Shea wherever he’s at—where are you Mike? Somewhere?—I love you to death. You’ve been nothing but uber supportive of us. We love you, and thanks to our team.”
