Watch the Eeries’ new video for “Shine On” (exclusive)

The Eeries are teaming up with AP to bring you their new music video for “Shine On.” The track is taken from the band’s self-titled EP, which is out now via Interscope Records. Check out the video below, and let us know your thoughts.

Vocalist Isaiah Silva says, “This particular video is a day in the life of our touring band; we announced via Twitter that on this particular tour with Gerard Way we would be making an inclusive docu-style video for ‘Shine On.’ We encouraged our fans to join in, be a part of it, have fun and shoot any footage of our show they wanted which they could then email us. It was interesting to see our live show from their perspective. It was also very helpful because we never want to stop evolving and developing as a band. So the footage provided us with much more than just a music video for Shine On. Combined with the footage we received, we also shot the shows from our perspective on our iPhones and a single GoPro camera to capture footage from our perspective… On occasion we'd toss the GoPro into the crowd and let the fans film whatever they wanted and then toss the camera back on stage. It was a communal effort. Once we got home from tour we had a friend edit it all together. It's an accurate representation of our live show and how we like to find fun, free, creative ways to make our shows a more inclusive communal experience that our fans can actively participate in and get more out of it.”
