Readers (and Brendon Urie) rejoice! Vine might just be making a return, and we're stoked.

Last year, it was announced that Vine would be shut down for good, and honestly, we were devastated. What was going to happen to all those Brendon Urie Vines?! (Don’t worry, they still exist.)
And it looks as though our wishes for Vine’s return have finally come true. Last week, Vine co-founder Dom Hofmann said he was working on a “follow-up to vine,” responding to the needs of the people.
i'm going to work on a follow-up to vine. i've been feeling it myself for some time and have seen a lot of tweets, dms, etc.

And the people got what we have been looking for: V2. (!!!)

This is really all we know for now, but Hofmann says he's funding the project himself and he'll share more “as it develops.”
Of course, even the little glimmer of hope has the internet is freaking out. (As are we.)
