After tweeting out a video of a man appearing to be asleep while behind the wheel of a Tesla, Wage War guitarist Seth Blake has come under fire.

Earlier this week, Blake’s fiancé allegedly took a video of a passing car while on the interstate. The video depicts a person nodding off, or being very relaxed. However, that said, the Tesla the driver that was inside was on Autopilot, a self-driving feature that comes in some models.

However, it wasn't long before the alleged driver of the vehicle caught wind of the semi-viral tweet.

“Hi Seth, I’m the driver of this vehicle,” Twitter user @billdower says. “No I’m not sleeping, I’m very relaxed. Driving on Autopilot can be very relaxing. At the last second of this video you can see my hand is on the bottom of the wheel and my head turns to look at a mirror. Please mind your own business.”

However, Blake did not let the argument die after that. Blake then quoted the alleged driver’s tweet, honing in on his own safety. Additionally, Blake accuses the Twitter user of not being the man in the video.

Last year, Tesla creator Elon Musk claimed that Autopilot was actually safer than actual human operation, according to Wired.

“It’s really incredibly irresponsible of any journalist with integrity to write an article that would lead people to believe that autonomy is less safe,” Musk says. “People might turn it off and die.”

Additionally, Wired reports that Tesla “registered one accident or crash-like event for every 3.34 million miles driven in which drivers had Autopilot engaged.”

You can check out a video of Autopilot in-action below.

However, despite the company's claims, people remain skeptical as there isn't a lot of proven information to back these claims up entirely.
